Council at its Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday 29 July 2026 endorsed the following policies to be placed on public exhibition:
- Draft Stock Grids & Public Gates Policy;
- Draft Formal Complaints Policy; and
- Draft Unreasonable Complainant Conduct Policy
These Draft Policies have been updated and reviewed by Council and are now open to submissions from the public.
As per the Section 160 of the Local Government Act, 1993, the policies are on public exhibition until Tuesday 1 September 2026.
Council will accept submissions on these policies until Tuesday 15 September 2026.
Submissions must be in writing and be submitted by email to council@walcha.nsw.gov.au or posted to PO Box 2, Walcha 2354 or in-person at Council Office at 2W Hamilton Street Walcha.
