Mayoral Elections

Mayoral Elections are held bi-annually in September. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor are elected by the Councillors.

On 22 December 2021 the Mayor was re-elected unopposed and the new Deputy Mayor was elected after an Ordinary Ballot was conducted by the General Manager. An Audio Recording of this Meeting will be on the website for 12 months.

Clr Eric Noakes

First Elected to Council on 10 September 2016.

Elected as Mayor on 28 September 2016. Re-elected unopposed on 22 December 2021.
