Our council crews are hard at work in our community maintaining and improving our local, rural and regional roads and bridges. If you meet one of our crews while out on our roads, to ensure their safety and your own, please follow all traffic control direction provided and keep your speed well within signposted speed limits.

Oxley Highway

Work by Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW)

Oxley Highway Flood Recovery 

The weekly road closures at Mount Seaview will cease from 4:30pm Thursday 18 December into the new year. There will be no weekly full road closures in 2026, weather permitting. 

The Oxley Highway will return to single lane alternating flow traffic arrangements in time for the NSW summer school holidays and during 2026.

Transport continues to plan for restoration work at other major sites and will keep the community updated as we progress the work.

Clr Anne-Marie Pointing

First Elected to Council on 04 December 2021.

First Elected to Council on 10 September 2016.

Elected as Mayor on 28 September 2016, re-elected unopposed on
