The Walcha Library is part of the Central Northern Regional Library Network and has access to talking books and sound recordings, videos and large print books. These can be reserved and renewed online as well as in person at any CNL Branch Library.
The Walcha History Centre is located in a room at the rear of the Library and is ideal for local historical research. The Library cannot give you access to the History Centre, you need to make an appointment with Kate Hoy on 0457 693 035 or Jan Cross on 6777 2037 or Jane Morrison on 0409 897 348 so you will have full access to the historical society records.
Opening Hours are:
Monday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Closed 1:00pm – 2:00pm)
Tuesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Wednesday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Closed 1:00pm – 2:00pm)
