Enrolments & Enquiries

Walcha Preschool manages all enrolments through OWNA.  Its easy to enrol or enquire, simply follow the instructions below:

For enquiries:  Complete this online form.

For enrolments:

  1. For families wanting to enrol at Preschool click here.
  2. You will then be taken through our enrolment form process which will create your account.
  3. Complete the online registration form including all necessary documents including your child’s immunisation history.
  4. You will be contacted by the Administration Officer about your booking.  Preschool will try its best to offer a place that matches your requirements.
  5. Once this is completed, you will receive a Letter of Offer, which will confirm your child’s place at Walcha Preschool.

Contact the Preschool on 6777 2117 if you would like to have an orientation visit before your child’s first day. An Open morning will be held each year before the start of Term 1.  Please check the Apsley Advocate or contact the Preschool for the exact dates.

Walcha Preschool is a community based Early Childhood Education & Care Service managed by Walcha Council.  All enrolment enquiries are handled by the Administration Officer and the Nominated Supervisor. The Administration Officer will work with you to complete your enrolment and any booking requests.

Walcha Preschool aims to provide a friendly, caring and educational environment for children, parents and caregivers. The early childhood years are a time of rapid growth and development. Walcha Preschool aims to provide an environment that will nurture your child’s stage of development and potential. Research proves that children aged between 3 and 6 years learn best through play and exploration experiences.

Walcha Preschool was last assessed in March 2021 against the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education & Care and School Aged Care and these ratings have been awarded in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011.
