Draft On-Site Sewage Management Strategy – Public Exhibition until 13 June 2025

Council approved the Draft On-Site Sewage Management Strategy (the Strategy) at its Ordinary Meeting held on Wednesday 30 April 2025.

The Strategy’s purpose is to provide guidance and clarity to Council staff, residents and landowners and to support Council’s existing approach to managing its statutory obligations in relation to the regulation of on-site sewage management in the Walcha LGA in accordance with the Local Government Act, 1993.

Council must place the Strategy on Public Exhibition for at least 28 days and the exhibition period will commence on Wednesday 7 May 2025 and close on Friday 13 June 2025.  During this time Council invite written submissions via post or email.
