Development Applications

Application Lodgement

If you are seeking development approval eg: to subdivide, build or renovate, the following applications can be submitted anytime through the NSW Planning Portal.

  • Development Applications;
  • Construction Certificates;
  • Complying Development Certificates;
  • Occupation Certificates;
  • Subdivision Certificates;
The above applications must be lodged via the NSW Planning Portal (the Portal), provided by the Department of Planning, Housing & Infrastructure (DPHI).
 
To apply online:
1.  Register for a NSW Planning Portal account to start your application.
2.  Log in to complete the online application form and submit all of the relevant documents and plans.
 
If you need assistance using the online development application service, please view DPHI’s Quick Reference Guides or contact Service NSW on 1300 305 695 or info@service.nsw.gov.au for additional support.
 
The application will be submitted to Council via the Portal for pre-lodgement review to ensure that all necessary plans and documents have been provided.  Once Council has accepted the application, we will contact you through the Portal to pay the relevant application fees, please note the application will only progress to lodgement when all relevant fees are paid.
