Council’s Riverview Clinical Governance Committee – Nominations OPEN

Council is establishing an Advisory Committee to assist with the Clinical Governance of the Riverview Aged Care Facility.  This Committee will initially work closely with Councillors and Staff to prepare for Council operation of the facility.

Up to 4 non-Councillor members can be appointed.  Skills and/or experience is necessary to be on this Committee in one or more of the following areas:

  • Clinical governance;
  • Residential aged care facility operations experience;
  • Knowledge and experience in the Medical or Allied Health care sector;
  • Aged Care industry knowledge and experience.

Please complete a Nomination Form.  Submit the form to Council before 5:00pm Wednesday 21 August 2024.

For your reference the Terms of Reference are available to view.  

Members of the Riverview Clinical Governance Committee are likely to be considered to be ‘key personnel’ for the purposes of the Aged Care Act 1997. This requires supplying information regarding your skills and qualification, and passing a suitability matters check.
