Part Day Public Holiday SURVEY!

Part Day Public Holiday in February 2026 & 2027 for Walcha Races

Council is required biannually to apply for the part day public holiday, from
12 noon to 6:00pm, that the Walcha local government area have for the running of the Walcha Cup. As a part of the process Council MUST CONSULT with the community as to the impact of a part day public holiday on businesses and the general public located within our local government area.

Council would appreciate it if you could fill in the SURVEY advising whether you are FOR or AGAINST the declaration of a part day public holiday, how it effected your business or way of life this year and provide comments. 

The Survey is only 3 questions!
